Ten Kosovo Security Force officers have begun professional courses at the Defence and Security College in Albania, as part of the further professional preparation and development of defence structures, Klan Kosova reports.
Of the 75 participants in the new courses, 65 are officers of the Albanian Armed Forces, while 10 come from the Kosovo Security Force.
The news was announced by Albania’s Ministry of Defence, which stresses that professional training, leadership and capacity-building are part of the Armed Forces’ transformation process.
According to the ministry, the courses aim to help prepare personnel to take on new responsibilities and to increase interoperability with allies.
“Knowledge, professionalism and leadership are an inseparable part of the transformation of the Armed Forces and of our ambition for a modern, capable force fully interoperable with allies,” Albania’s Ministry of Defence said in its statement.
