125th protest against the government held, nationwide protest announced for October 8 in front of Parliament

The 125th protest against the government was held this Friday. Protesters first gathered in “Skënderbej” Square, from where they then began marching towards the Prime Minister’s Office.

During the march, protesters chanted against the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama. Among the slogans heard during the protest were “Albania is not for sale, the government is for sale” and “Down with Edi Rama.”

The protesters then gathered in front of the Prime Minister’s Office building, where they continued the protest and conveyed their messages against the government.

During the rally, the holding of a nationwide protest on October 8 in front of Parliament was also announced, on the day when the territorial reform is expected to be voted on.
