Administrative Committee sets candidate list for the RTCG Council
The Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro, in its 92nd session held on 29 September, approved the proposal to elect Prof. Dr Biljana Maslovarić as a member of the Managing Board of the Fund for the Protection and Realisation of Minority Rights, as Vijesti reports. Maslovarić had been proposed by the Council for Higher Education.
In the same session, the committee set the list of candidates from non-governmental organisations for members of the Council of the Public Media Service of Montenegro (RTCG). From the media field, Nebojša Asanović was nominated — proposed by 21 NGOs, of which 17 were verified as authorised proposers — and Olivera Nikolić, nominated by 8 NGOs, of which 5 were verified. From the culture field, Miroslav Bobo Milanović was nominated — proposed by 37 NGOs, of which 19 were verified — and Vuk Vuković, nominated by 3 NGOs, of which 1 was verified.
The working group found cases of incomplete documentation among the proposers of all candidates. The deadline of the public call for nominations expired on 14 September. Earlier, on 28 September, Media centar and the Centre for Civic Education (CGO) filed criminal charges against Milanović for document forgery — according to them, he was an official of the Democratic Montenegro party until the end of July 2026, which the law prohibits for an RTCG Council member, since three years must pass since the end of a party function.
