Culafiq on Mujovic’s visit to Botun: a good story, but GP Putevi is still without an executive director
The DPS councillor in the Assembly of the Capital City of Podgorica, Stefan Culafiq, reacted to today’s visit by the mayor of Podgorica, Sasa Mujovic, to the wastewater treatment plant in Botun — as the Montenegrin portal Pobjeda reports.
According to Pobjeda, Culafiq said that the mayor ‘has a good story’ (‘dobra mu je priča’), but pointed out that Mujovic did not tour the plant together with the executive director of the city company GP Putevi — because the Capital City has still not appointed one, so the company is represented by an authorised signatory, a temporary substitute.
Culafiq added that during the mayor’s term, he has approved only the purchase of used buses older than 20 years, with over 800,000 kilometres travelled — another remark about his management of the city’s services.
The DPS councillor’s statement was published on the social network X, opening another round of political clashes over the progress of the Capital City’s projects.
Mujovic’s visit to Botun comes at a time when the wastewater treatment plant is receiving increased public attention, while the lack of an executive director at GP Putevi remains one of the most criticised points of Podgorica’s current administration.
