Albania’s state archives expand international cooperation in meeting with Palestinian ambassador in Tirana

The Director General of the Archives (DPA), Auron Rrokaj, received the Ambassador of the State of Palestine in Tirana, Rana Abu Sibae. The meeting discussed opportunities for cooperation between the DPA and the Palestinian Institute of Archives on matters of mutual interest.

The talks also focused on the proposal to hold joint cultural activities and to develop the professional capacities of staff.

In the interest of good relations with partners, the DPA head has previously met the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States Mission in Albania, Kathryn Hammond, as well as the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Albania, Pang Chunxue.

Among peer institutions in Europe, the DPA has signed cooperation agreements with its Italian, Bulgarian, Moldovan and Ukrainian counterparts. At the regional level, it has formalised cooperation with the Archive of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the State Archives of Montenegro.
