Anne Hathaway steps out in red Carolina Herrera look while promoting “Verity”
Wes Gordon presented the Spring 2027 collection for Carolina Herrera, a tribute to 45 years of the fashion house and the women who have shaped its history and trajectory. Less than a week later, actress Anne Hathaway — who has a long-standing relationship with the brand and whom Gordon dressed for the 2025 Met Gala — appeared in a customized version of one of the key runway looks during a press junket in New York on September 18, as part of the promotion of her upcoming film, Verity.
According to Harper’s Bazaar, Hathaway wore a two-piece ruffled knit set, a reinterpretation of a model seen on the runway in blue that was reworked for the event in a ruby shade. The strappy knit set consisted of a short-sleeved crew-neck top and a midi pencil skirt with layered, wavy edges that accentuated her baby bump; stylist Erin Walsh worked on preparing the look.
She completed the outfit with crystal-embellished stiletto sandals from Aquazzura and Bulgari accessories, including a Serpenti bracelet and sunglasses. She wore her hair long and wavy, while a red lipstick in the same shade completed the look ahead of interviews about Verity.
The adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s 2018 psychological novel hits cinemas on October 2; Hathaway portrays author Verity Crawford, while Dakota Johnson plays Lowen Ashleigh, the writer hired to write in her place — a change and approach also documented by Harper’s Bazaar.
