Korça of serenades: Koçiu says “Serenights” brings the Old Bazaar to life

Deputy Prime Minister Albana Koçiu shared on social media scenes from the festive atmosphere in Korça, where the “Serenights” festival has brought music and culture to the alleys of the Old Bazaar.

“A weekend in the Korça of serenades,” Koçiu wrote, accompanying the post with footage from the event.

The festival has turned the alleys of the Old Bazaar into an open-air stage of art and culture, with citizens of all ages and many tourists joining the musical atmosphere under the sound of guitars.

Koçiu described the atmosphere as proof of the development of cultural tourism in Albania, where tradition and cultural heritage remain an important part of the tourist experience.

“Tourist Albania is not just sea and mountains, but also culture, tradition and hospitality,” she stressed.
