Arrested after minors’ report of harassment and stalking, singer Erind Xhaferi appears before the court for a security measure

The Fier singer Erind Xhaferi has arrived at the Fier Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction to be informed of the personal security measure, after being arrested by Fier Police.

He is suspected of committing the criminal offense provided for by Article 108 of the Criminal Code, “Shameful acts.”

According to preliminary data, the investigation began after a phone call made by minor girls to the operations room of Fier Police.

After receiving the information, the services of the Fier Police Commissariat carried out verifications in the field and organized the operational actions to document the case.

Xhaferi was arrested in flagrante, while the procedural materials were referred to the Fier Prosecution for further actions.

The hearing to set the security measure is being held with judge Noel Veizi, while the case is represented by prosecutor Skerdi Sinanaj.

At the end of the hearing, the court’s decision on the security measure against the singer is expected.
