“Our boycott serves only the Prime Minister” — Berisha accuses the justice system: SPAK will never remove Rama, only protest will

“The opposition’s exit from the institutions interests only Rama; the only road is protest for his removal.”

That is what Sali Berisha said during the meeting with the allies of the United Opposition Federation, stressing that the opposition must continue the battle inside the institutions, while opposing the idea of a boycott.

According to Berisha, the opposition must use parliament to denounce the government’s actions and to exercise its institutional rights.

Berisha also declared that Albania faces a regime which, in his view, respects neither the law nor the Constitution. In these conditions, he said, the only road to Rama’s removal is not SPAK, but protest.

“This is the Albanian reality. And so the only road here is protest for his removal. There is no other solution; we will be here… but to expect that SPAK will remove him — it will never remove him, it can never get near him. Everything he is doing now, he is doing only for himself. Even the laws he presented to change, only for himself.”

Thank you for the discussion, the suggestions, the remarks. One moment here is fundamental: this is an opposition in a dictatorship.

And an opposition in a dictatorship has two options. This is a dictatorship based on drugs, on their extraordinary power.

Only Salvator Aliu, who cooperates with Edi and Olsi Rama, has in his hands at least 7 billion euros, minimum, and has undertaken to build Zigzag on their behalf.

In these conditions the opposition has two choices: either to go outside the institutions, or to continue the battle inside the institutions.

There is no condition for being in the institutions. None of its rights is respected. But abandoning the institutions is the best interest of the dictatorship.

How you block him when he takes 83 mandates, I do not know. He has solved that problem; with 83 mandates he uses them for all the things he needs, laws of this nature.

In elections he is blocked; if you do not take part in the elections, he held the elections as he held them. You should also know one thing: when the mandates were burned, the gentleman executed the decision within 24 hours, when the legal space was 3 weeks.

And in fact, we should know that if the DP was not punished for the precedent it created, it was because they saw that he wanted that thing, and they shared the responsibility. Because the DP had no right whatsoever to burn the mandates.

So we are dealing with a man who wants the opposition outside the institutions at all costs. When you want, we will take the decisions and discuss them, but the opposition’s exit from the institutions serves only him.

Because at least they have been used, for nothing else, today those who rightly count dozens and hundreds of criminal acts of this government — all of them have been denounced in parliament and to SPAK by this opposition.

That has happened. But only that, because he has everything under his control, as you see yourselves.

He interrupted the territorial reform himself; he saw that the consultations were against him, he said go away, I do not need consultations.

That is the truth. This is a fact from which positions are determined. Here we are dealing with a regime that recognizes neither law nor Constitution.

Now we will gather as a parliamentary group — what will we do? He does not accept motions, which are a right sanctioned in the Constitution.

Neither for KAYO, nor for the SHISH. A gang comes out and the opposition has no right to call a motion debate.

That is how it is. It is always this. Because they are simple. Should we stay outside the institutions or go out?
