Berisha on Security Council summons and October 2 presentation of the US ambassador: “I have received no invitation”

Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha, in a conversation with his followers on social media, also spoke about the presentation ceremony of the new US ambassador, Eric Wendt. Asked by citizens whether he had been invited to the event, Berisha said he was not aware of the presentation ceremony, which will take place on October 2.

“I welcome the ambassador; I have no knowledge of the ceremony,” he said.

Berisha was also asked about the meeting to be held this Monday, at which President Bajram Begaj has called the National Security Council over the case of former SHISH chief Vlora Hyseni. He answered that question briefly as well, saying he had received no invitation.

“I have not received any invitation,” he said.
