Berisha on the prime minister’s UN speech: “Rama is a fierce enemy of Kosovo — he didn’t utter a single word about the KLA”

Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha, in a conversation with his followers on social media, spoke about Prime Minister Edi Rama’s address to the UN General Assembly. Berisha described Rama’s speech as the most shameful ever delivered by a representative of Albania.

According to Berisha, instead of defending national interests, Rama devoted his speech to fear of algorithms and domestic scandals. He added that Rama did not utter a single word about Kosovo or the KLA leaders.

In his remarks, Berisha drew a parallel between Rama’s stance and that of the Croatian prime minister, who he said openly denounced in the UN Belgrade’s destabilizing actions and the glorification of war criminals such as Ratko Mladić.

“Padrino’s address to the United Nations was the most shameful speech ever delivered after the speeches of Albania’s foreign ministers or those of North Korea.

“We have never had such a shameful representation, where the head of the Albanian narco-state, stunned, terrified by youth and civic protests and by one scandal after another, devoted his speech to the algorithm and the terror he feels from the algorithm at the United Nations.

“In that speech, in that hall which, not by chance but in a major act of contempt, stood empty during his address, Edi Rama did not utter a single time the word Kosovo and the word KLA or a KLA leader.

“Treason has seized him by the throat. It has grabbed him by the throat and no longer lets him utter a word. A shameful story. In that hall, in a brilliant speech, the prime minister of our friendly country, Croatia, spoke as if he were the prime minister of Albania. He denounced Belgrade’s actions, the military honors bestowed on the monsters of the Bosnian genocide, Ratko Mladić, Belgrade’s destabilizing efforts in Kosovo and other problems of the region.

“But for Edi Rama, his universe was the algorithm, which has in fact struck terror into him and marked the date in every cell of his being. But on this occasion, I also invite those few citizens of Kosovo who, for their Yugoslavism, or to remain as relics, or for their Enverism, continue to be deceived by Edi Rama.

“All those who love Kosovo have seen and have seen with documents, irrefutable facts, that Edi Rama is a fierce enemy of Kosovo, of democracy.

“Friends, after the attempts to bring down the government of Kosovo with Vlora Hyseni and his envoys, he is now spreading in Albania the lowest slanders with which he seeks to portray the Vetëvendosje Movement as a party against Albania.

“I say to these flatterers of Edi Rama, who are paid as his servants and move from one studio to another with unscrupulous deception: in Kosovo the truth is that there is no anti-Albania party.

“But there is an anti-Albanian prime minister in Albania. There is a prime minister in Albania, oh jackals and flatterers, who has built in the motherland, in Albania, the drug state and pays you. How can you accuse a party in Kosovo’s government today of being against Albania?

“There is no party in Kosovo against Albania, but naturally every honest Albanian in Kosovo and everywhere in the world is against Edi Rama’s narco-state, and you use Albania as a shield for Edi Rama’s narco-state.

“Shame on you! There is no anti-Albania party in Kosovo, but there is an Albanian who behaves like Serbia’s Pasić toward Kosovo, an Albanian named Edi Rama, Vučić’s servant.

“You who appear in studios, you shameless ones, and label Kosovo’s parties anti-Albanian — have you forgotten the sanctions he was the first in Europe to impose against Kosovo?

“Have you forgotten the Balkan tour he made to isolate Kosovo’s prime minister, while others showed him the elbow, at his request, the other neighbors?

“Have you forgotten how he handed over the project for the partition of Kosovo? Have you forgotten how he handed over the project received in Belgrade for the Association?

“How he demanded an international conference on Kosovo so that the Russians could sit at the table?

“How do you allow yourselves such a thing? You with the same zeal, the same service, serve Vučić. You are just as anti-Albanian as Edi Rama, who does not dare utter the word Kosovo at the UN.

“Who did not say a single word about the sentencing of that entire political leadership of Kosovo. He did not utter a single word. This problem did not exist for Edi Rama.

“This stateless man found patriotism at a dinner where he attacked the United States and President Joe Biden for treason.

“Joe Biden is not president today, but I tell Albanians that throughout his political career he has stood and voted for Albanians. And a scoundrel comes out and says Joe Biden betrayed, since he is no longer in office.

“America betrayed Hashim Thaçi. How can such a word be uttered? In what way did America betray Hashim Thaçi, tell me?

“By liberating Kosovo in cooperation with the KLA? So practically, this degraded Padrino today has no other interest but his chair because he knows his end is coming, a terrible end and end.

“Why terrible, you will ask? Because he has signed hundreds of unlawful decisions.

“Because he is de facto the leader of the most powerful drug cartels in Europe and among the most powerful in the world. Because he has stolen billions in tenders, procurements and public assets.

“Today Europe has no second person as incriminated as Edi Rama. So be prepared to hear anything from him until he ends up in the courtroom,” he said.
