Bijelo Polje: criminal complaint filed against a minor for causing panic

Bijelo Polje police have filed a criminal complaint against a minor suspected of the criminal offence of “causing panic and disorder,” as the Montenegrin portal Vijesti reports.

According to the joint statement of the Police Directorate and the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Bijelo Polje, as reported by Vijesti, since the suspect is a minor with criminal responsibility and the unlawful acts also concern minors, the institutions cannot give the public more details for now.

The case file has been handed to the competent juvenile prosecutor, who found that the essential elements of the criminal offence exist and ordered the filing of the criminal complaint, according to the same official statement cited by Vijesti.

The police stress that, in cooperation with schools, they are carrying out preventive activities across the country against peer violence.
