“Drishyam 3” holds strong on day two: 50–51 crore rupees on Saturday, heading for 100 crore over the weekend
“Drishyam 3: The Conclusion”, the third and final film in Ajay Devgn’s saga, continues its triumphant march at the Indian box office: as Bollywood Hungama reports, the film remains “rock solid” on its second day of release and is estimated to have collected 50–51 crore rupees net during Saturday.
Friday’s opening was already a record for the actor: 66.75 crore rupees net within India — the biggest opening of Ajay Devgn’s career — with a worldwide total of 95.10 crore rupees on the first day, becoming the second-biggest opening for a Bollywood film in 2026, after “Dhurandhar 2”.
The pace did not drop on the second day either: according to Sacnilk data cited by Indian media, by 17:00 on Saturday the film had collected 25.50 crore rupees from 11,212 screenings, taking the total to 87.50 crore — at this pace, the 100-crore threshold is passed before the second day has even closed.
“Drishyam 3” marks Ajay Devgn’s return in the role of Vijay Salgaonkar, alongside Tabu, Shriya Saran, Jaideep Ahlawat, Prakash Raj and Rajat Kapoor; it is directed by Abhishek Pathak, who also co-wrote the film. It is the concluding chapter of the franchise that began as a remake of the Malayalam series with Mohanlal, but which Bollywood’s producers took in a new direction with an original climax.
The first reactions from cinemas speak of an ending that has surprised even the series’ oldest fans — and the box office is reflecting this enthusiasm every day.
