LPK member Fatmir Brajshori has rejected claims that there was a conflict between Hashim Thaçi and Behajdin Allaqi, saying that at LPK meetings there were debates and polemics, but no conflicts.
Speaking on Debat Plus, Brajshori drew a distinction between debate, polemics and conflict, saying that the LPK had internal democracy and many discussions.
“There was none. Some things need to be clarified. A conflict is one thing, debate and polemics are another. At LPK meetings, since there was internal democracy, we always had debates and polemics, but never conflicts. There were never conflicts,” Brajshori said.
He said the LPK, in a way, had also functioned as a space where internal discussions and debates took place.
“I say that the LPK, in a way, was a kind of academy,” he said.
Brajshori directly denied that there had been a conflict between Thaçi and Allaqi.
“There was never a conflict between Thaçi and Allaqi, not even once,” he said.
According to Brajshori, Thaçi was among the most measured and calmest members at LPK meetings.
“I say with full conviction that Thaçi was the wisest and most measured in our meetings; he did not know how to offend anyone,” Brajshori said.
