For the eighth night in a row, citizens fill Skënderbeu Square in opposition to the Specialist verdict

Many citizens gathered again tonight at Skënderbeu Square in Prishtina, where the eighth consecutive night of the “Not in my name” protest is being held.

The protest is being held in opposition to the verdict of the Specialist Chambers in The Hague against the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army.

Again this evening, protesters gathered in the center of the capital to express their opposition to the first-instance verdict and to demand justice for the former KLA leaders.

Banners and messages in support of the former KLA leaders are placed in the square, while “Not in my name” remains the main slogan of the protest.

Rallies at Skënderbeu Square have now continued for eight nights in a row, bringing together citizens who oppose the Specialist Chambers’ verdict.
