Formula 1: Russell wins in Azerbaijan

George Russell won the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Baku, Azerbaijan. The British Mercedes driver dominated from start to finish, surviving two Safety Car periods and the attacks of Verstappen (who finished second).

Hadjar, in the other Red Bull, completed the podium. Ferrari ended the race right behind the podium with Leclerc, ahead of Antonelli, who recovered positions to take fifth, ahead of Hamilton.

Norris retired after a collision with the two Alpine cars of Colapinto and Gasly; for Piastri it was a catastrophic race.
