After about 8 months on the run, Eraldo Fizi, the former partner of Xhuana Nikolli, has turned himself in to Lezha Police.

According to the Police statement, Fizi, 25 years old, a resident of Lezha, presented himself at Lezha Police Station accompanied by his lawyer, after continuous police searches and negotiations with his family members.

He had been declared wanted for the criminal offenses of “Domestic violence” and “Causing suicide.”

According to the police, the case is linked to March 10, 2026, when Fizi is suspected of having physically assaulted his former cohabitant, Xh. N. According to investigations so far, the young woman is suspected of having, because of the violence inflicted on her, consumed medication and subsequently lost her life.

The police announce that further procedural actions with citizen E. F. will be carried out by the services of Police Station No. 2.
