“Here is who committed the crime”, Manjani comments on the distribution of intimate videos

Lawyer Ylli Manjani commented on the programme Now on Euronews Albania on the publication and distribution of intimate videos of composer Adrian Hila.

Manjani focused on responsibility for the publication of private materials, stressing that, in his view, the main issue to be clarified is identifying the person who made public the private lives of the individuals involved.

“The first question that must be clarified is who has taken it upon themselves to make someone’s private life public. That is the first question,” Manjani said.

He described privacy as a major issue and argued that, in this case, a distinction must be made between the private actions of adults and the publication of materials without consent.

“Privacy is a major argument, today in the West people are killed over privacy. These are adults who have taken it upon themselves to do things with their consent, so the first issue is the violation of privacy,” the lawyer said.
