In memory of Jovica, let the campaign be free of insults and division — VMRO-DPMNE’s Brvenica mayoral candidate presents his program

VMRO-DPMNE’s candidate for mayor of the Municipality of Brvenica, Stojančo Radičevski, presented his election program last evening, according to the 360° portal. He announced the continuation of started projects and new investments in infrastructure, the local economy, education and digitalization.

In his speech, as 360° writes, Radičevski pledged to run the campaign with dignity, respect and humanity, without insults or division, focused on the municipality and its future: “I feel a moral obligation to lead this campaign with dignity, respect and humanity, as befits the moment we are in. In memory of Jovica, let us show that even when we hold different views, we can and must remain human beings and neighbors.”

Under the presented program, he announced the construction, reconstruction and rehabilitation of local roads in Čelopek, Tenovo, Stenče, Vuković and Blaće, as well as the completion of sewerage networks in Sedlarce, Brvenica, Čelopek, Blaće and Miletino. The plan, as 360° reports, also includes expanding and rebuilding the municipal building, building a water supply system in Čelopek and developing infrastructure in the “Brvenica” industrial zone to attract new investment and create jobs.

“For young people and the economy, we are opening the local innovation fund ‘Youth with Ideas’, the ‘My Business, My Municipality’ business incubator, a center for practical knowledge and skills, as well as support programs for women’s entrepreneurship and rural development through ‘Village with Business’. I forget neither the youngest nor the oldest: we are building a new kindergarten in Čelopek, expanding the kindergarten in Brvenica, opening a retirement home with capacity for up to 50 residents, and we will invest in energy efficiency and in making schools accessible to children with special needs,” Radičevski stressed.

In the digital era, he promised free internet in public spaces, an e-services platform, an open data system and the “You Are Part of the Process” platform for citizens’ direct participation in decision-making. With the “Your Document — Our Job” project, citizens will apply from home for documents and services (extracts, permits, certificates) without waiting in lines, and will track the status of their requests online.

Radičevski called on citizens to join and vote for number 1 so that, as he put it, Brvenica keeps being built. The early mayoral elections in Brvenica will be held on October 18 — they were called after the then-mayor Jovica Ilievski died suddenly in June this year at the age of 58.
