PDK calls a press conference for Tuesday, reason undisclosed

The Democratic Party of Kosovo has announced that it will hold a press conference on Tuesday, September 29, at its headquarters in Pristina. The announcement was made on Monday evening through an official media statement, also carried by local outlets including Fiks.al and Klan Kosova.

According to the announcement, the press conference will begin at 11:00 a.m., while the party gave no details about the reason or the topics to be addressed.

The announcement comes amid political tensions, as PDK — the largest opposition party — has in recent weeks opposed the constitution of the Assembly and the election of the Kurti government, warning that it will turn to the Constitutional Court to assess the legality of the procedures, as Kosovar media have reported.

It remains to be seen whether Tuesday’s press conference will shed light on the party’s next steps in its institutional battle.
