Iran’s judiciary chief: The army is in better shape than in previous wars
Iran’s judiciary chief Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei has said that Iran’s armed forces are now in better condition than during the two previous imposed wars, and warned that any new adversary miscalculation would be met with a stronger response, as Al Jazeera reports.
Mohseni-Ejei said Iran’s military strength after the 12-Day War and the most recent conflict has become more coherent and stronger, adding that the armed forces are now in a better position than in either of those wars.
He also referred to the US military presence in the region, saying American bases in the region should consider withdrawing their forces, something that he said would be in Washington’s interest, as well as in the interest of regional states and the American people themselves.
Mohseni-Ejei warned that if the adversary commits another miscalculation, Iran’s response will be stronger than in the past, and harder. He said the Iranian people have always stood alongside the system and the armed forces, and that the country has succeeded thanks to national unity and support for its leadership and military.
