Israeli artillery strikes al-Mansouri, Beit Yahoun and Aita al-Jabal in southern Lebanon

The town of al-Mansouri in the Tyre district was hit by Israeli army artillery fire, with shells falling in the town center, Lebanon’s National News Agency reported.

Israeli artillery also struck the towns of Beit Yahoun and Aita al-Jabal in the Bint Jbeil district, according to the agency.

The strikes mark a new escalation on the Israel–Lebanon northern front, an increasingly hot theater of the expanded U.S.–Iran war, where in recent days Israeli airstrikes have been recorded in several areas of southern Lebanon and responses from the other side.
