Police checks in Vlorë focus on vehicles with tinted windows and wanted persons

Police have stepped up checks at several points in the city of Vlorë, as part of measures to increase security over the weekend.

One of the checkpoints has been set up at the Trans-Balkan road roundabout, where officers stop and check the vehicles travelling on this axis.

Particular attention is paid to vehicles with tinted windows, while police verify drivers and passengers to identify wanted persons, as well as to detect possible cases of unlicensed possession of weapons.

Similar checks are also being carried out at other points in Vlorë. According to police, the increased presence of the forces aims to prevent and detect violations of the law during the weekend.
