Jokoviq: If pellet supply runs short, I will seek an export ban

Agriculture Minister Vladimir Jokoviq has said that if the domestic market is not supplied with sufficient quantities of pellets or the set retail price is not respected, he will seek a suspension of pellet exports from Montenegro.
Jokoviq said protecting citizens’ interests would be the priority and that he would insist on respect for the set price, while continuously monitoring market conditions and supply ahead of the heating season.
According to him, if the domestic market cannot be supplied regularly, exports cannot take precedence over the needs of Montenegro’s citizens, so the competent institutions will prepare measures to ban or suspend exports.
