Julian Hall scores on his debut for the U.S. national team
Julian Hall scored on his first appearance for the United States national team, helping the side to a 4-1 friendly victory over Peru at Orlando City’s Inter.co Stadium. The goal came in the 72nd minute, when Hall found himself at the far post and turned in a cross from Sebastian Berhalter, ten minutes after coming on as a substitute for Justin Ellis.
As mlssoccer reports, the goal is another achievement in a brilliant 2026 season for the 18-year-old Red Bull New York striker: 10 goals and 5 assists, for a total of 15 goal contributions, which also earned him an MLS All-Star call-up over the summer. Along with the goal, Hall provided the assist for a spectacular Sebastian Berhalter finish in the 90th minute that sealed the 4-1 result.
Another debutant, Justin Ellis, had opened the scoring in the fourth minute with a header following a move involving Gio Reyna, meaning two players scored in their first games for the national team. The key moments of the match and the players’ season statistics were also covered by mlssoccer.
