Krapoviq from Brussels: Investment in defence and security is investment in society’s prosperity

Montenegro’s Defence Minister, Dragan Krapoviq, took part today, 30 September, in the Space and Defence Summit organised by the Euronews media house in Brussels, as the CdM portal reports.

In the panel where his Slovenian counterpart Valentin Hajdinjak and the representative of Moldova also discussed, Krapoviq stressed that investment in defence and security is investment in society’s overall prosperity, underlining that security constitutes the foundation of economic and social development.

The Montenegrin minister announced that Montenegro is keeping pace step by step with modern security developments, giving particular importance to international cooperation and investments in the country’s defence capacities.

According to him, the new security challenges, from cyber to space, require common responses and strong partnerships between allied countries, within NATO and other European structures.
