Local elections, Balla convenes the expanded assembly of the Socialist Party in Kavaja and seeks victory in the municipality

The Socialist Party’s political leader for Tirana District, Taulant Balla, has convened the Expanded Assembly of SP Kavaja, where work has begun on preparing for the local elections of spring 2027.

The focus of the discussions was the need for new leadership of Kavaja Municipality, with emphasis on improving public services, increasing investment in infrastructure, education and sports facilities, as well as developing tourism and agritourism.

Balla said that these fields should also serve as opportunities to grow the local economy and incomes for the residents of Kavaja.

He also declared that there must be transparency over the use of public funds and property, demanding that light be shed on what he described as abuses in the administration of the municipality.

According to Balla, in the coming weeks the process will also begin for selecting the candidate for Mayor of Kavaja and the municipal councillors.

“The first citizen of Kavaja must be every day at the service of the citizens,” Balla said.
