Montenegro’s Minister of Human and Minority Rights, Fatmir Đeka, took part in the Second International Conference on the return of Ukrainian children and detained civilians, where he expressed the Government of Montenegro’s full and clear support for the conference’s goals, as RTCG reports.
Đeka stressed that the return of Ukrainian children must be urgent, safe and unconditional. In his words, the Ukrainian people are defending not only their own state but also the democratic system, calling for a joint and decisive response from the international community.
During the first day of the conference, the Montenegrin minister also met Norwegian State Secretary Eivin Vad Petersen. On the second day he will present Montenegro’s national statement at the ministerial session.
