“Not in My Name” Cancels Symbolic Action in Front of ASHAK

The symbolic action of the “Not in My Name” initiative, announced for Friday at 10:00 in front of the Kosovo Academy of Sciences and Arts building, has been canceled. The initiative itself announced the news through a notice, stressing that the action will be held on another day.

“You will be notified in time about the new date and time,” the initiative’s notice says, which gives no further details on the reasons for the cancellation.

The action was planned as a public question addressed to the Kosovo Academy of Sciences and Arts, regarding the Specialist Chambers’ verdict in The Hague against former KLA leaders. The new development comes a day after the initiative announced the symbolic protest in front of ASHAK.
