Operation “File 23” in Zubin Potok: 9 arrested on war crimes charges

Nine people were arrested in the early hours of this morning in the municipality of Zubin Potok during a wide-ranging police operation codenamed “File 23”, as Klan Kosova reports. The operation was carried out by the Directorate for the Investigation of War Crimes, supported by other specialized police units, on the order of the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo.

According to sources of Klan Kosova journalist Altiana Zogaj, who broke the story exclusively, those arrested are suspected of the criminal offense of “war crimes against the civilian population”.

The operation is linked to the case known as the “Group of Intellectuals”, Klan Kosova reports.

The Special Prosecution and the Kosovo Police have said they will inform the public with further details as soon as the information can be made public.
