Over 217 million denars paid to 10,754 vegetable growers in North Macedonia

The Agency for Financial Support in Agriculture and Rural Development has paid 217,241,135 denars to 10,754 vegetable growers in North Macedonia, the institution announced.

The payment was made under measure 1.3, which provides direct payments for arable agricultural land, according to the official announcement.

These are state subsidies intended for vegetable cultivation, benefiting growers who declared their vegetable-planted areas this season.

The payment is one of the periodic state support payments for agriculture, through which the aim is to encourage domestic production and strengthen the resilience of agricultural producers.

The agency says financial support for farmers will continue according to the approved rural development program, while upcoming measures and payments will be announced in due time.
