Over 217 Million Denars Paid to 10,754 Vegetable Growers in North Macedonia

The Agency for Financial Support in Agriculture and Rural Development has paid 217,241,135 denars to 10,754 vegetable growers in North Macedonia, the institution announced.

The payment was realized under measure 1.3, which provides direct payments for workable agricultural land, according to the official announcement.

These are state subsidies destined for vegetable cultivation, benefiting growers who declared vegetable-planted areas during this season.

This payment is one of the periodic state support payments for agriculture, through which domestic production is encouraged and the sustainability of agricultural producers is strengthened.

The Agency announces that financial support for farmers will continue according to the approved rural development program, while the next measures and payments will be announced in due time.
