‘Drishyam: The Conclusion’ closes a record weekend: around 177 crore rupees in three days in India, the biggest opening of Ajay Devgn’s career
“Drishyam: The Conclusion”, the finale of the film saga starring Ajay Devgn, opened in cinemas on 2 October 2026 and closed its first three days with a staggering figure: around 177 crore rupees net in India alone. The film collected 66.75 crore rupees net on its first day (Friday, 2 October), 50–51 crore on the second day (Saturday) and rose again on Sunday with 60.12 crore rupees net — figures confirmed both by Bollywood Hungama and by BoxOfficeIndia24, which tracked the numbers live throughout the weekend.
The result makes “Drishyam: The Conclusion” the biggest opening of Ajay Devgn’s entire career. The audience’s extraordinary interest was visible already in advance sales, which passed 10 crore rupees with around 160,000 tickets sold for the opening day alone — thereby doubling the actor’s previous personal record, held by “Drishyam 2” with 5.09 crore rupees.
With around 177 crore rupees in three days, the film ranks as the second-biggest opening of 2026 in Bollywood, immediately behind “Dhurandhar 2”, and as the fourth-biggest in the history of Hindi cinema — leaving behind giant titles such as “Stree 2”, “Pathaan”, “Animal” and “KGF 2”.
The marked rise from Saturday to Sunday shows that strong word of mouth is pushing the film beyond initial expectations, and the “Drishyam” saga is closing its cycle with one of the most impressive Indian box-office performances of recent years.
