Panathinaikos Edge Kalamata 1-0 as Tetteh Scores in the 33rd Minute

Panathinaikos secured an important 1-0 away win at Kalamata on Sunday evening, in the fifth-round clash of the Greek Super League. The game’s only goal came in the 33rd minute from Andrews Tetteh, who definitively decided the match at the Dimotiko Stadio Paralias.

Panathinaikos controlled the game for most of the encounter, holding 62% of possession and preventing Kalamata from creating serious danger in the first half. Tetteh’s goal came after a well-organised attacking move, rewarding the visitors’ dominance.

In the second half, Kalamata pushed forward in search of an equaliser and created good chances in the closing minutes. Cataldi and Kurminowski had the clearest opportunities for the hosts, but their efforts were stopped by the visiting goalkeeper, who kept Panathinaikos’s clean sheet intact until the end.
