Platform for community issues handed over to the Government
Prime Minister Albin Kurti took part in the ceremony handing over the Platform for Community Issues to the Government of the Republic of Kosovo — a platform developed by IOM in 2024, with the support of the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
In his opening remarks, Prime Minister Kurti said the platform enables citizens from all non-majority communities — Serb, Bosniak, Turkish, Roma, Ashkali, Egyptian, Gorani, as well as Montenegrin and Croat — to find in a single place the information they need.
“First, it offers information on Government policies, as well as on the latest opportunities for grants, subsidies, employment, training, and internships, and second, it enables citizens to report discrimination directly, thus creating two-way communication between the Government and the communities,” Kurti is quoted as saying in the press release.
Prime Minister Kurti announced that the platform will be managed by the Office for Community Issues, within the Office of the Prime Minister, and invited all communities to use it, promote it, and help it keep improving, as Telegrafi reports.
