“Prania Besnike” returns today, Rama shares the announcement: hearings and answers to citizens’ concerns at 17:00 across Albania

The hearings with citizens on their problems, the government initiative known as ‘Prania Besnike’, continue again this afternoon according to the set calendar (every Friday).

Prime Minister Edi Rama shared an announcement that the meetings take place at 17:00 across Albania.

Last week, the prime minister did not take part in any of the meetings as he was at the UN General Assembly in the US.

“Good morning, and with the Friday of Prania Besnike, which today continues at 17:00 across Albania, I wish you a good day,” Rama writes.

The new mechanism of communication with citizens came as a result of citizens’ ongoing protest, who, according to Rama, have not been heard and have been ignored by officials.

“Hearings are a condition for answers; we will all be there where Prania Besnike requires,” the prime minister says, among other things.

Meanwhile, the ‘PasqyrëAlbania’ platform, presented by Prime Minister Edi Rama in Pogradec, is also at citizens’ service. The platform will operate through two sectors, “Flamingo Albania” and “Radar”.

“Flamingo Albania” will gather all the problems of citizens that have not received a solution from the administration. Complaints and requests will pass through this system to be addressed to the responsible institutions. “Radar” will serve to track them in real time — where the complaint is, which institution is handling it and at what stage its resolution is.

The aim is for citizens’ problems to receive a solution within two weeks.
