President Begaj accepts credentials of Ambassador Wendt: U.S. an irreplaceable partner

President Bajram Begaj received the new United States Ambassador to Albania, Eric Wendt, for the presentation of his letters of credence.

The President accepted the credentials of the American ambassador and wished him success in his mandate.

The head of state reaffirmed Albania’s determination to strengthen the strategic partnership with the United States of America.

In this context, President Begaj said Albania will continue to be fully committed to deepening relations, building on the priorities of its foreign policy and the responsibilities stemming from the close relationship.

“The United States is an irreplaceable partner for advancing national interests,” President Begaj stressed.

After the official credential ceremony, President Begaj held a one-on-one meeting with Ambassador Wendt.
