Rey Mysterio Reveals Full Worlds Collide Card: CM Punk, Penta, Dominik and Oba Femi Included

Rey Mysterio, general manager of AAA, has revealed the full card for the WWE Worlds Collide event taking place on September 26. In the main event, Mysterio will team up with CM Punk and AAA champion El Grande Americano for a triple-threat showdown against Omos, Dominik Mysterio and J.D. McDonagh. The card also features the appearance of Oba Femi and the reunion of the Lucha Brothers (Penta and Rey Fenix).

According to Bleacher Report, the full card includes: the appearance of Oba Femi; Mr. Iguana, La Parka, Adelicious & Mascarita Sagrada against Mini Abismo Negro, Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes & Myka Lockwood (with Jackson Drake); Dragon Lee against Jack Cartwheel; Las Tóxicas (Flammer, La Hiedra & Maravilla) against Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid); a Fatal 4-Way for the No. 1 contender spot for the AAA World Cruiserweight title between Axiom, Mini Vikingo, Je’Von Evans and E.K. Prosper; for the AAA Reina de Reinas title, La Catalina (champion) against Roxanne Perez; the Lucha Brothers (Penta & Rey Fenix) against Perros del Mal (Daga & Berto) with Karmen Petrovic and Angel; and finally CM Punk, El Grande Americano & Rey Mysterio against Omos, Dominik Mysterio & J.D. McDonagh.

Mysterio had already faced Omos at Triplemanía 34 earlier this month, where he suffered a defeat that resulted in Omos returning to the AAA roster. The Worlds Collide event is expected to bring together stars from AAA, Raw, SmackDown and NXT, creating cross-promotional matches aimed at teasing rivalries and capturing fans’ attention.

The card reveal is expected to raise expectations for the event and bring important matchups between WWE and AAA stars, an aspect also highlighted by Bleacher Report.
