SDSM Alleges New Suspicious €13.2 Million Tender: “Rudnap” and Bozhinovska, Key Links in the Network

North Macedonia’s opposition party SDSM came out today with new accusations over what it calls a “new deal” worth €13.2 million in the energy sector. According to Maja Serafimovska-Borozan, the Serbian company “METER&CONTROL” was chosen as the bearer of EVN Macedonia’s contract for the supply of electricity meters, while the firm turns out to be linked to “Rudnap Group”, which appears in its ownership history.

“Who is the key link between ‘Rudnap’ and Mickoski’s Government? Energy Minister Sanja Bozhinovska and consul Dushan Adamoviq,” Borozan declared. According to her, in the 2011–2014 period Bozhinovska served as executive director of “Rudnap Group” companies in Central and Eastern Europe, and she is also linked to “Rudnap DOOEL” Skopje, where she was a manager.

Borozan added that “Rudnap” is also a partner of “Al Dahra”, a company tied to the “Belgrade Waterfront” project — a model she says is now being announced in North Macedonia as well. In this network, she said, Dushan Adamoviq also appears, an SNS official and honorary consul appointed by Mickoski.

“This is the new million-euro link in Mickoski’s business energy network, which SDSM exposed six months ago. A network whose pipes stretch from the Regulatory Commission, REK and the Development Bank all the way to offshore structures in Cyprus,” Borozan declared. According to her, the Cypriot offshore structures lead to Vojin Lazareviq’s “Rudnap Group”, while the entire network connects directly to the Government through Sanja Bozhinovska.

The accusations come after an investigation published by the Serbian Center for Investigative Journalism (CINS) in cooperation with BIRN, according to which the 812.4-million-denar (about €13.2 million) electricity-meter contract was awarded on August 11 to “METER&CONTROL”, a company founded in April 2008 by “Rudnap Group”.
