Street Festival at the New Bazaar, German projects and initiatives in Albania presented

As part of German Cultural Week 2026, the “Street Festival” was held today at the New Bazaar in Tirana, an activity that brought together in one shared space various German projects and initiatives in Albania.

The fair presented initiatives in different fields, including economic, social and cultural ones, bringing closer to the public the activities and the contribution of German actors in Albania.

Participants had the opportunity to learn about projects, organisations and initiatives developed in cooperation between German and Albanian institutions and partners.

“Street Festival” aimed to present directly the activity of “Team Germany” in Albania, creating a space for information, communication and cooperation with citizens.

The activity was also accompanied by elements of German culture and gastronomy, turning the New Bazaar into a meeting point between the Albanian public and German culture.
