Tasholli: The youth has taken the KLA into its hands — no one can take it from them

Ismail Tasholli, a representative of the “Liria ka Emër” (Freedom Has a Name) platform, said the protests underway in Pristina in support of the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army are drawing ever more support, especially from young people.

The protests have entered their ninth night, with thousands of citizens gathering in Pristina to express support for the former KLA leaders following the decision of the Special Court in The Hague.

Tasholli, speaking on Debat Plus, said youth participation is one of the key developments of these protests.

“I often say it as a metaphor, that the youth has taken the KLA into its hands. And there is no one who can take it from them — you’ll only tire yourselves. This is the good news in all this misfortune that has befallen us, and the tension and the crowd are growing as they await with great seriousness those who are in The Hague,” Tasholli said.
