Tensions at Protest: 11 People Escorted to Police Station No. 1

Following tensions recorded during today’s protest outside the Parliament and the Interior Ministry, 11 people were escorted away. Those escorted were taken to Police Station No. 1.

Tense episodes were recorded at the protest as demonstrators intermittently threw eggs and toilet paper at police. They also attempted to break through the police cordon and remove the metal fence surrounding the Parliament.

The protesters also blocked roads with garbage bins. During these incidents, 11 people were escorted away.
