Ben Blushi, invited to Roland Qafoku’s “Dekalog” show on DritareTV, delivered a strong analysis of the situation in Kosovo after the Special Court’s ruling against the former KLA leaders. At the center of his statements were Hashim Thaçi, the role of the West, Albin Kurti’s relations with the United States and what Blushi sees as the final way out for Kosovo.

Blushi did not spare his criticism of Vetëvendosje either. According to him, VV was created as a party against Serbia and turned into a party against Albania.

“Unfortunately the party that was founded for this project has turned into an anti-Albania party. I know Kosovo, I have worked there and I have many friends. I have not seen a more negative line against Albania than that of Vetëvendosje. Because Albin Kurti, in the name of puritanism, has chosen a climate against the Albanians of Albania, portraying them as people who deal drugs, who kill each other, etc. Twenty years ago no Kosovar would have thought this, let alone said it. Today they say we are Dardanians, we are purer Albanians than you. This disgusting feeling is massive in Kosovo because of Kosovo,” Blushi said.
