Vuno village declared immovable cultural heritage as a Historic Center

The Council of Ministers has approved the decision declaring the village of Vuno immovable cultural property as a Historic Center, as well as defining its protective zone.

According to the decision, the zone of the Historic Center of Vuno village is defined based on zoning maps and coordinates in the Albanian Geodetic Reference Framework (KRGJSH), attached to the decision.

Along with the declaration of the historic center, the Government also approved the plan for its preservation, protection and administration and that of the surrounding protective zone.

The new decision repeals Council of Ministers decision no. 30, dated January 20, 2016, “On the declaration of the Historic Center of Vuno village and the approval of the regulation for its administration and the surrounding protected zone.”

The decision tasks the State Authority for Geospatial Information with publishing the maps of the historic center and protective zone on the National Geoportal, while the State Cadastre Agency will carry out its registration in accordance with the legislation in force.

For the implementation of the decision, the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy and the Himarë Municipality are tasked.

The decision enters into force after publication in the “Official Gazette.”
