19-year-old found dead in the village of Nikaj in Kaçanik

A 19-year-old was found dead on Saturday afternoon in the village of Nikaj in Kaçanik, as the police spokesman for the Ferizaj region, Kanun Veseli, confirms for Klan Kosova.

The case was reported at around 1:30 p.m., after family members found the young man dead. Police units from Kaçanik, regional investigators, forensic teams and the medical team of the Kaçanik family medicine centre immediately went to the scene, and the medical team confirmed the death.

After examining the scene and the body, spokesman Veseli said no elements were found that raise suspicions of the involvement of other persons in this case. Based on the initial data, it is suspected that the young man took his own life.

The state prosecutor has been notified and has authorised the regional investigators to continue their work to fully clarify the circumstances of the event.
