Abdixhiku Meets New EULEX Chief, Kosovo Situation Discussed

Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) chairman Lumir Abdixhiku received in a meeting the new chief of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX), Antero Lopes.

According to the LDK, the meeting discussed stability, the rule of law and current developments in Kosovo, as well as the party’s positions on these issues.

Abdixhiku valued the importance of cooperation with international partners and the role of EULEX in supporting Kosovo’s institutions in the field of rule of law and security.

“The importance of strengthening the rule of law, constitutional order and democratic institutions in Kosovo” was one of the meeting’s topics, the LDK statement says.

The LDK leader also expressed the party’s readiness for continued communication and cooperation with EULEX.

“With the aim of ensuring a regular exchange of information and coordination on issues of importance for the rule of law, security and democratic stability of the country,” the statement says. /Telegrafi/
