VIDEO / Etrit Berisha is sent off, Albania are left with 10 players! Finland equalise the match

The national team are playing in Helsinki against Finland, in the match valid for the third round of the Nations League, in Group C1.

The match, which kicked off at 15:00, took a different turn after the red-and-blacks were left with 10 men following goalkeeper Etrit Berisha’s red card in the 22nd minute. Berisha was sent off after coming out of his penalty area, leaving Albania a man down. Goalkeeper Sherri came on in his place.

Just four minutes later, in the 26th minute, Finland found the equaliser from a free kick, with Sherri beaten in Albania’s goal.

Albania had taken the lead as early as the 4th minute. Asllani crossed from a corner and Manaj scored with a header, celebrating with the red-and-blacks.

The hosts have now equalised at 1-1, while the red-and-blacks must continue the match with a man less.

Both national teams are aiming for top spot in the group.
