Albania to rotate its ambassadors to Kosovo and North Macedonia

Foreign Minister Ferit Hoxha has proposed changes at the helm of Albania’s two embassies in Kosovo and North Macedonia. The move foresees a swap between the two sitting ambassadors.

Denion Mediani, who has served as Albania’s ambassador to North Macedonia, is expected to take over as ambassador to Kosovo, while Petrit Malaj, currently Albania’s ambassador to Kosovo, is expected to become ambassador to North Macedonia.

Both ambassadors are expected to appear before the Parliamentary Committee on Europe and Foreign Affairs in the coming days, where they will also hold their respective hearings.
