Average electricity bill in August: 49.31 euros

The average electricity bill for households in Montenegro during August was 49.31 euros, announced the Montenegrin Electric Utility (EEMZ).
Households consumed 173.6 million kWh of electricity, which is 17.48% more than in July and 21.25% more compared to August last year.
The lowest average bill was recorded in Plavë, at 21.68 euros, while consumption was highest in Ulqin, where the average bill reached 89.11 euros.
About 51.57% of households will receive a bill of up to 30 euros, while 10.32% will pay over 100 euros.
As part of the “Golden Team” programme, 117,336 consumers benefited from a 38% discount on active energy, while 67,285 consumers benefited from a 21.5% discount.
