“Bello” organization: sentenced to 10 years for drug trafficking, Belgian media reports Eldi Dizdari will be extradited from Dubai

Eldi Dizdari, alias Denis Matoshi, will be extradited from Dubai to Belgium.

According to the Belgian outlet Gazet van Antwerpen, he has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for his role in drug-trafficking activities. The 37-year-old is considered one of the key figures of the “Bello Company” criminal organization (roughly “the Beautiful Ones”, so called because its members mostly had partners from show business).

He is also known by the nicknames “the Tall Albanian” and “Alduth”. In Belgium, he will face the verdict handed down by the court of Antwerp.

The group Dizdari and Dritan Gjika belonged to was hit by SPAK, suspected of having transported at least 50 tons of cocaine from Latin America to European Union countries.

In 2020, when the Special Prosecution launched a financial investigation against him, it learned that Dizdari had received a 500-square-meter plot of land as a gift from Qefsere and Eqerem Grori, as well as Osman Dervishi, in one of Tirana’s most expensive areas, on Dervish Hima street near the “Air Albania” stadium.
