‘Beyond the Wall’ celebrates Pink Floyd’s legacy in Las Vegas: works by Gerald Scarfe and Storm Thorgerson
Animazing Gallery at the Grand Canal Shoppes, The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, announces the special exhibition and sale “Beyond the Wall,” a rare collection of works celebrating the legacy of Pink Floyd — as PR Newswire announced on October 2, 2026. The exhibition opens on October 16 and remains open until November 2.
At the center of the exhibition are Gerald Scarfe, the English cartoonist and illustrator known for his long collaboration with Pink Floyd — including the artwork for the legendary 1982 album The Wall, its film adaptation and the tour — and Storm Thorgerson, the author of the iconic album covers The Dark Side of the Moon, Meddle, Atom Heart Mother and Wish You Were Here. Thorgerson had a relationship of more than four decades with the band’s members, starting from his school days in Cambridge with founders Syd Barrett and Roger Waters.
The exhibition also presents Ginger Gilmour, artist and sculptor — the former wife of Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour — who will offer original works and exclusive limited editions, as well as the artists John Douglas, Mel Balatbat, Randy Martinez, Dale Benson and Nancy Elhallak. One of the exhibition’s treasures is Gerald Scarfe’s signed exclusive limited print “Marching Hammers and The Scream” with images from Pink Floyd’s The Wall, alongside original production artwork from the animated film The Wall.
Scarfe also debuts two customized guitars, hand-painted with artwork from The Wall, built in the famous Lynn Ellsworth workshop and then painted by him under an exclusive agreement with the gallery. The exhibition launches with a private VIP event for collectors on Friday, October 16 (18:00–21:00), while the public opening is on Saturday, October 17 (16:00–19:00); Ginger Gilmour, Mel Balatbat, Randy Martinez, Dale Benson and Nancy Elhallak will attend both.
Animazing Gallery, founded in 1984 as a gallery specializing in the conceptual art of animation, has meanwhile become a point of reference for illustration art and contemporary art inspired by the masters of illustration; it has two spaces in the Grand Canal Shoppes.
